HOCK CHEONG ELECTRIC PTE LTD (formerly known as Hock Cheong Electric Co.), established since 1965, is an electrical rewinding company. With his unique practical experience, the present Chairman - Mr. Foo Chau Sang, led the team of 4 employees into rewinding all types and models of electrical machinery. These include motors, dynamos and starters.

Today, with more than 30 quality personal in our company, operating in a factory space of 600 sq meter, we undertake all ranges of motor and generator repairs and transformer manufacturing.



PRESENT ACTIVITIES


Electrical Engineering
Rewinding motors, generators and transformers is the main core of our business. We have qualified engineers to rewind, redesign or modify machinery to suit the customer's needs. Whether it is High Tension or Medium voltage, we have the capacity and capability to handle.

With our past records and experiences, we are the service center for the following multinational companies. Our responsibility is to provide them with after sales back-up services:
  • Leroy Somer (SEA) Pte Ltd - the Singapore No. 1 seller for French Electric Alternators. With their products selling all over Asia, our engineers often travel to China, India, Parkistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. to commission, repair or modify the generators at the power plants.

  • Boustead Services Pte Ltd - the sales agent for Brook Henson Motor UK. Our company is the only authorised service center in South East Asia for UK to repair and modify Crompton EXPLOSION PROOF Induction Motors. With the proper spares and tools, our specially trained engineers are able to service the full range of this reputable explosion proof motors.

  • JCE Group of Companies - Authorised licensed to locally assemble EXPLOSION PROOF control panel with international authorities certificates.

    Transformer Manufacturing
  • Voltage Transformer - Full range of low transformer.
  • Current Transformer - Full range low voltage, metering and protection transformers.

    Electrical Installation
    This includes site wiring works and control panel assemblies. We provide design and submission works to factories or industrial installations. Our Major clients include The Mount Elizabeth Hospital, The Mandarin Hotel etc.

    Air-conditioning
    Authorise dealer for CARRIER Singapore Pte Ltd. Also undertaking projects on maintenance and aircon installation.
